Video: Human rights debate at NYU London
14 May 2014
On 28 April 2014 I debated Dr Lee Rotherham of the Taxpayers’ Alliance at NYU London. The motion was: This House believes the human rights agenda is promoting unfairness in the UK. I was against the motion (as you may have guessed).
The debate is now up on YouTube – enjoy!
Adam, I enjoyed the debate – well, the half I have had time to watch.
Can you run trough catgate here – as your opponent suggested it was not the way you put it?
Thanks Theo – my posts on the case sum up the position. The cat was mentioned in the judgment (actually, as a joke) but was obviously not the reason the man avoided deportation, as stated by Theresa May.

And here in Oxford UKIP are leafleting me and are still talking on human rights about “the cat”.
